Obviously I have not been great at updating this poor little website. Half of the reason is due to I have ran out of space for pics. Going and creating a new site just seems daunting and saving, shrinking and reloading all the existing photos doesn't sound appealing either. So I apologize if you are coming to visit and see that this site is such a mess. Maybe soon I will clean it up. If not, you can always friend me on FB or email email@example.com if there is something you would like me to make. I usually try to put my gourds on FB and my new obsession pinterest...lol.
I am selling some of my gourds on my Mother's antique shops website, if you are interested visit http://www.rubyplaza.com/shop/timberhillsantiques-rp and click on handcrafted to see my items. If you are local and would like to purchase something you can deduct $10 if you can pick the item up and it doesn't have to be shipped.
Hi! I have started dabbling in the world of gourd art and have found I have become enthralled with it. I have slowly begun to sell any of my "works of art", to anyone who desires them. Through the prompting of friends and family, I decided to create this little web page, so I could share what I create. Sometimes the gourds are great~sometimes they are less than. BTW~~I am by no means a web designer!! So there will be nothing fanciful except for maybe the pictures of the gourds. ( :
Please feel free to leave comments, questions, etc or email me firstname.lastname@example.org.
Well....I actually did it. I entered into the Show Me Gourd Festival @ the Sedalia State Fair. There are some crazy talented people out there!! I know most of them are lucky enough to do nothing but master their craft. So I felt pretty good when I came home with two second and one third place ribbonsss. I think some of it has to do with which categories you place your gourds into. Hopefully I will do better with that next year. Here is the link if you want to see the MO Gourd Society pictures from the festival(they aren't the best but they give you a good general idea) http://www.showmegourdsociety.com/2010FestivalPhotos.html
Okay Okay Okay~~I will try to work on creating another page that has all the items that are currently for sell and the prices....please know that you are more than welcome to email me if you see something that catches your fancy. I will be more than happy to tell you if I still have it and how many millions it will cost you! Hahaha!
Whew!! Ok, I burned the midnight oil many nights to be ready for this show. Once I got everything set up I needed 2 tables instead of 1! The 1st year I had barely enough for 1 table. I had a lot of fun doing this, met some great people, and sold some of my favorite pieces and came home with some of my favorites too! I going to post some pictures of the table that actually have the prices in front of the pieces. If you see something you like email and I will see if I still have it. ( :
